Type: A telescoping brass high D model with brass head and yellow plastic fipple plug. When collapsed it measures about 6.75 inches.

Volume: Quiet in both octaves, sweet and 'pure'. You can get a full second octave, no problem. Great for practice without bothering others.

Status: Sold in September 2026 to a buyer in Quebec, Canada.

Additional details: A ring has been attached to the end piece to aid in collapsing/extension. This is an early model of a MackBeth whistle head, with nonstandard sizing and materials, that was completed more recently. The result is an extremely quiet whistle that is also prone to clogging more than a typical MackBeth; that's often the tradeoff for getting a sweet, quiet whistle. The best cross fingering for C natural is OXXOOO.
