Date completed: Originally November 2023, then adjusted while visiting Mack in July 2024.

Type: A telescoping brass high D model with brass head and black plastic fipple plug. When collapsed it measures a fraction under 6 inches in length.

Volume: It is a medium volume whistle, neither overly loud nor overly quiet. The second half of the upper octave gets louder but the rest is fine for indoor play without irritating your family and roommates.

Status: For sale for $110; it has an 'early model discount' applied.

Additional details: The windway is rectangular which may improve resistance to moisture clogging. Both OXXOOO and OXXXOX work for C natural. This whistle requires a gentle touch and good air control to really get the best sound out of the lower octave.
