Type: Two-piece whistle - not telescoping, but detaches in the center.

Volume: Quiet with a small amount of backpressure.

Status: Available for $115, but I am still working on removing a tiny bit of wobble in the joint and may reduce the price if I can't completely resolve it.

Additional details: A travel case is available separately for $15, but many pencil cases would work just as well. The length of the longer section is just under 6.5 inches. The mouthpiece is white plastic with a green plastic plug.
