Type: A tunable brass model with black plastic fipple plug.

Volume: Very quiet - the upper end of the second octave gets a bit louder. Good breath control will be necessary to get the best out of this whistle. While you are developing it you may get a lot of squeaks due to overblowing. Once mastered, this will be an excellent practice whistle. Status: Available for $80 as a "Scratch & Dent" model.

Scratch & Dent details: This whistle has a very small dent on the top of the mouthpiece and an irregularly shaped fifth hole. These are visual imperfections only and the sound is unaffected.

Additional details: Cross fingerings OXXOOO and OXXXOX work best on this whistle. OXXXXO does not work well. Overall length is 11.25 inches.
